APAS and back pain.
To add to my previous questions regarding my APAS. for the past 18 months something happened from probably overdoing it, and I have so much pain down both my legs from lower back to ankles, down the rear of my legs muscles pull so severely it stops me in my tracks, down around my thighs and sides of the calves. when walking they just burn like you wouldnt believe. I can no longer do the everyday things anymore. I am 41 yrs old. My last MRI showed
mod to servere degen L4/5 facet joints bilaterally resulting in 3mm of L4/5 spondylolisthesis, posture L4/5 disc is uncovered, thickening of ligamentum flavum. Combination of facet joint arthropathy, spondylolisthesis with uncovering of the posterior disc, thickening of ligamentum flavum causes mild L4/5 central canal stenosis. Slight narrowing of L4 neural foramen bilaterally,particularly in the cranio-caudal dimension, however preservation of perineural fat an unlikely to be significant stenosis.
mild posterior disc bulge of T12/L1, L1/2, L2/3,L3/4 L5/S1 discs without causing central canal,lateral recess or foraminal stenosis.
The cord terminates at L1 vertebral body level.
Mod to severe bilateral L4/5 facet joint arthropathy resulting in grade 1 L4/5 spondylolisthesis and mild L4/5 canal stenosis.
Why am I in so much pain down my legs that they have stopped my enjoyment of life so much and has this got anything to do with APAS???? Please help
