So my dad called me at 530am (i was in the shower for work) and said he was taking her to the hospital. the chemo doc was comin at 730. (my father is a therapist and had to see a critical patientKidney diet - dialysis patients at 8am so he "dropped her off") I have been calling her cell phone adn she's not answering... but I know shes there... he didnt just push her out the door or anything ;)
That being said... has this happened to anyone? im worried....
mom had the port removed on saturday and now has a staph infection throughout the body..... LOVELY.
shes in great pain, high fever, blood pressure was 80/50!!!!!!, very very uncomfortable...
started on all sorts of strong antibiotics and hopefully.... HOPEFULLY she starts responding.
love to you all
Meg
I am so sorry that your mom is having such a tough time. I am adding her back into my prayers for a speedy recovery!!!
Karen
Mom's blood pressure has stabalized, and her fever didnt make it's way into her sleepless night last night... so she's improving. She'll be on antibiotics for 10 days...
Her fistula is still causing issues.... so she's only on "clear liquids"...ugh! But I guess her feeling better and being able to ingest SOMETHING is better than not.
Thank you for your continued support and prayer!
Love Meg
best to your mom
((hugs))
