Effects of Brain Anyourism

by williamsad615, Jun 20, 2008 10:12AM
My mother had a brain anyourism about 7 years ago.  She was able to practically recover fully from this, with the only her balance being affected.  However, in hte last year or two, she has become increasingly forgetful.  Could this be a result of the anyourism or could this be a sign of alzheimer's or demetia?

How are you? How is your mother? Memory involves many facets of the brain, and if a brain aneurysm or treatment damaged any of these areas, memory will suffer. Many survivors regain their ability to remember, while some continue to experience difficulty with short-term memory for years. Strategies for short term memory loss can be found in this link:  http://www.bafound.org/support/strategy.php

I hope this help. Take care and keep us posted.
