Can an emg test thirty days after symptoms first appear be enough time to have something show up on a test. I had an emg test done one month after i started twitching and having muscle problems. It came back clean. I had Three doctors say that If i had something as severe as als that after a month something would show on the test that will raise an eyebrow.  One doctor said that your muscles would start to have problems before any symptoms even occur, there fore the test would pick up some damage.
