Lump on lip after stitches

by hardkicker92, Jun 20, 2008 06:14PM
I cut my upper lip while playing soccer and got stitches and now I have a lump on them. It really bothers me and people make fun of me.. It has been almost 2 years now and the lump has not gone away yet. Should I get surgery and how long will it take after the surgery to look normal?

See a plastic surgeon to determine if the problem can be repaired.  This is a result of scar tissue formation and revision of the scar is certainly possible.
