Back Again : )

Hello Everyone!  I have been out of the loop for about 2 1/2 mths. I had miscarriage #2 on April 9th. I was carrying identical twins.  I also had a miscarriage prior to that Nov 26th.  The 1st miscarriage was due to low progesterone level  & the 2nd miscarriage is still unsure but they believe something was not right with one baby which affected the other (they were in the same sac).
Well I already have a 3 1/2 year old son but before we start trying again my DR told me she would run test on me (draw my blood) & see if anything came up that could also be causing me to miscarry.  She feels like everything will be negative due to me already having a child.
My husband & I were going to wait at least 6 mths before trying again but now I am READY.  I have had 2 cycles & I would like to wait another cycle & get the test ran.
MY QUESTION WOULD BE ...DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT TEST THEY RUN?? WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR?? JUST CURIOUS!  I know i could wait & ask my DR everything but someone on this board seems to know everything!

Thanks girls!

I don't know what they test for, but at least they're checking! Most docs don't even do that. I'm excited you'll get to start trying again. My OBGYN also told me, after my miscarriage, that because I already had a baby my miscarriage was probably due to a defect and that it was normal and there wasn't anything wrong with my body.

GOOD LUCK!
