HPV is a virus.  WBC elevation wouldn't come from a virus, nor would high esr counts.  I hope her doctor is following up.

Good luck,
Aj

I have never heard of a relation between ESR levels (I'm assuming this means erythrocyte sedimentation rate) and HPV or any other STD for that matter.  I did come across an article online that says, "Moderately elevated ESR occurs with inflammation, but also with anemia, infection, pregnancy, and old age."  I would follow up with your doctor to see what possible causes could be.
Best,
Em
