Papillodema

Hi Dr. John. We have spoken alot. I went to see my local opticians about the swelling in both eye nerves and discs while I am waiting for hospital app.I know she is not a specialist but she could clearly see with the machine she has, Papillodema in both eyes. She took a special photo and could show me the "swelling".She feels that it could very likely Benign Intracranial Hypertention but I must wait for the lumber puncture to comfirm. So far the neurologist has comfirmed Temporal Arteritis. What do you think the chances of me losing my eye sight are? I seem to be caught between a rock and a hard place. Thanking you agaain.
