Given that all these tests came back negative the closest differential we can consider here is a migraine with aura. Migraine aura may present in various ways but commonly as visual symptoms wherein a black spot or a spot of light may be present usually over the central vision. Other auras may present as a slurring of speech, tingling of extremities or a change in the sense of smell and taste. Migraine auras should not last for more than an hour. Any form of weakness in the extremities should be further evaluated.
This appears to be migraine with aura. Complex migraines may not be applicable here as they usually present with visual symptoms, vertigo and even slurring of speech.
Continue to observe the symptoms. A thorough assessment of metabolic factors like Vit B6 and B12 levels, thyroid and parathyroid hormones may also help.
