Hi,

My daughter is one year and two month old. she is weighing 17.11 lbs. at the time of birth she is 6.2 lbs. Her height is 29 inches. After 6th month (till 6 month I feed her) after 6 th month I have started her on Formula. she became bad eater she doesn`t want to drink milk or Soild food.. Till now she never cried for food.

She doesnot want milk or any soild food. If I feed her a spoon of food she will make sound like she is going to throw up. But If I give her some more she takes it till 10 tbs. Then again she will making sounds like throwing up.

She doesnot take her Milk throw bottle. I have give her milk by piercing the bottle with my fingers.
But she is Active she always roams around palying.

Now she is eating 1/4 cup rice cereal (breakfast) 1/2 cup cooked rice with vegetable (lunch), 1/4 cup as dinner. in between she drinks milk 16 ounces.

So Please just me what kinds of foods( we won`t eat egg or any meat product) I should give her and How much she needs.

Thank you
priya

She is old enough to drink from a cup. Try giving her Soy or Rice milk or Pedisure (which is soy based) in place of milk in a cup instead of a bottle. For additional protein / calories make Soy or Rice milkshakes. Take soy or rice milk, frozen fruit, soy yogurt and blend it up in a blender. She needs protein sources at each meal such as the milk I mentioned, soy puddings, rice and bean combo, and cooked nuts and grains combo, to name a few, to help gain weight. At this age she can also be eating finger foods so let her eat on her own and do not use the spoon for most meals. Thank you for your question.
