Both ears having extreem pressure with dry persistant cough

by ellenskyy, Jun 22, 2008 11:52AM
About 4 days ago I woke up with a slight sore throat. By the end of that day it was alot worse and I had a fever. This continued through the next day and then that night it moved completely from my throat into my right ear causing extreem pressure and pain. The next night it also moved into my left ear with the same symptoms. Now the pressure in my ears is consistant although not as painful, and I have a persistant cough and tightness in my lungs.

The docter I saw did prescribe me antibiotics, however if this is a virus that wouldn't help anything. Should I be doing something or taking something else to help me fight this off? Any advice would help.
