Night Time Vomitting

by msmitty, Jun 22, 2008 05:52PM
The past couple of nights I have woken up in the middle of the night and vomited. It isn't that I wake up feeling sick, and think I might throw up, it is an urgent "get to the bathroom now," kind of feeling, and I vomit up yellow stuff. I am nauseous pretty much all day long, slightly less so after I eat something, but only vomit at night. Other than the nausea, I feel fine. Normal energy, no fever, etc.

Perhaps unrelatedly, I have also recently developed scabbing all over my scalp with no rhyme or reason.

A little history: I recently had surgery for a collapsed lung, no allergies, I broke out in a random rash that lasted 3 days with no explanation about a month ago. I guess my health is generally a mess right now, but the vomiting at night is pretty cumbersome.

The 'yellow' stuff is probably bile. You may want to check with your doc about the state of your gallbladder.

But you're mention of a random rash and your head scabbing over reminds me of my husband before we found out he had celiac problems. His head was blotching and he'd get widely-spaced (time-wise) 'rashes' and we couldn't figure out hwat was going on - until we found the celiac problem.

Celiac issues can change gallbladder functioning in some.
