Carbohydrates 60-65 % you need complex carbohydrates like whole grains, and fruits and vegetables are excellent. Carbohydrates give you fuel (energy). Fruits and veggies are great but are not calorie dense so be sure to eat more that just a fruit at a time....try adding peanut butter, have a piece of bread, handful of nuts or something like that.
20-25% fats making sure to avoid saturated or hydrogenated fats. The best sources of fats are olive oil, canola oil, flaxseed oil, cornCorns and calluses oil, omegaOmega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids 3 fattyXanthoma acids (often taken as supplements), soybean oil, safflower oil, sunflower oil, cornCorns and calluses oil, and salmon, trout, and all cold water fish are great sources. Nuts and seed contain excellent sourses of the good fats just be sure with portion size.

For you, you may need to up the fats and increase your calorie intake each day eating at least 6 meals a day to supply your body with efficient calories in order to gain weight. Never Never go hungry so carry some food with you all the time.
