10 year old boy who does stop twitching his fingers. Is this a nervous problem or what would be causing this to happen? He can control it and stop when told about it but has a habit with it. Is it really anythig to worry about or is it parent paranoia?

How are you? How is your son? Are there associated symptoms? Involuntary finger twitching can be caused by involuntary nerve or muscle spasms. However, in your son's case, the finger twitch can be controlled and stopped. This may just be a habit or stress related and nothing to worry about.

Take care and keep us posted.
