This patient support community is for discussions relating to breast cancer, biopsy, genetics, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, lumps, lumpectomy, lymph node dissection, lymphedema, mammograms, mastectomy, radiation therapy, reconstruction, self exams, and stage 3 and 4 treatments.
These anti-emetic drugs are OK for use in your situation. Additional drugs that you may ask prescription from your doctor would include metoclopromide and apprepitant to further decrease the severity of this side effect. This side effect is expected to last about 3-4 days and you should be fine after that. Nibbling on ice chips may also help.
