CAMERON IS HERE!!!!!!

I went to the doctor on Wednesday as plan. i was gettin contractions, when she checked me i was 4 cm and my bag was ready to rupture. i was taken to the hospital. on my way my contractions were like 5 mins apart. when i got the hospital about 8 or so and was on the monitor. there were still the same for a while. i was havin some huge huge contractions which i aint felt at all. the nurse kept askin me do u feel them. i was like no. my doctor broke my water at 12 am. i started feelin little pain. i ask for the epidural in case somethin was to go wrong. when i go to 8 cm, i was given given pitocin to regulate my contractions. i was so loopy and out of it from the epidural. i was seein doubles, everything looked different, i could sleep for a while and started vomitin.
around 5:30 5:45 it was time to push. i was pushin and pushin and still no Cameron. the doctor push her hand in me to try get him out but no sucess. we tried and tried. i was pushin and in pain. she got the vacum ready. his heartbeat started droppin, i didnt know wat to do. i was loopy and druged up. she said 3 more trys then am heading to the OR for a C-section. i began pushin again. lo and behold with the help of the vacum Cameron came busting through my vagina in full force with out control. lol his cord was around his neck. i knew somethin wasnt right since the wk before but i never knew wat is was. he is ok and didnt have any problems breathin. he cried as soon as he came out.
he was born at 6:35 am weighing 6lbs 14 ozs. his delivery was quick cause my water was rupture after 12 am and i had him in like 6 hrs. i had to get stitches since he riped me open. we are home and fine.

Did they give you demerol? It will make you loopy, they always say the epidural can make you vomit. I never did but i have always worried about that. Good Luck and enjoy your lil one.....
is the cord around the neck a common occurance? i've seen it posted on here a lot recently w/ everyone's birth stories!
I love the name.. My lil guy's name is Cameron also and he was 6 lbs 15oz.. very close...nice...
