change in menstrual cycle

by dsharp, Jun 23, 2008 10:26PM
I have three questions 1-does your menstrual cycle change after having left fallopian tube removed? and 2-Can you still get pregnant after one tube has been removed? 3-What happens to the eggs from the left overy when theres no fallopian tube?

1). Yes, your cycles can change when you have major things happen (like giving birth, or in your case, getting a tube removed). You may find that your cycles become a lot longer but eventually they will regulate or you can ask your doctor how you can regulate.

2). Yes, you can most definitely become pregnant!

3). The eggs from the other ovary will either dissolve after they mature or you will actually still ovulate (the egg MAY still be able to find its way to the uterus but most likely will end up dissolving somewhere in your abdomen).

So what's up girly? Are you hoping that you will still be able to become pregnant? Whatever you are here for I hope you find the answers you seek!
