foot pain

by Stillharbor, Jun 24, 2008 09:54PM
Does anyone know the difference between bunions and sesamoiditis?

I have been ballroom dancing for about a year and constantly have to put extra insoles into my shoes under the ball of my right foot below my big toe.  The pain is gradually getting worse to the point even walking in heels for any length is painful.  It feels like there is not enough cushion under the bone and the pain is starting to radiate into my big toe.  Sometimes when I stand still too long, my 3 center toes go numb.  I know that I don't roll my foot inward so it's not overpronation, in fact I have to be careful not to roll my ankle outward.

Can anyone help?
