Progesterone

I am trying to conceive with fertility issues, for which iam under medication, like FSH, HCG.
But i would like to know, why did the doctor gave me Progesterone supplements,,i.e susten 100, one in the morning and i\one at night. I feel almost like fainted after an hour of the intake on the MEdicine!
1)Why does this fainting and unstabiliy happens,,i cannot drive my vehicle?
2)What is the necessary of progesterone, while tring to conceive?
Note:I was injected with FSH75IU from my 7-10 day, from the day of my period and got HCG injection on day15,,my egg was 19.5 on day15.

i have had 2 MC's and all the testing to see why they happened. all the testing came back normal with no cause, but for secuirty purpsoes my fertility doctor put me on prog supps, same as you morn and night. the side effects are drowsiness and major bloating. if it continues to happen you should talk to your doctor about it cause you body should start to get used to them. the doctor puts people on it just to make sure they have a nice strong thick uterus lining. since using them, i am now pregnant again, 5 weeks and so far so good, keeping my fingers crossed.
