Red line on center of head

by izehoze, Jun 25, 2008 07:35AM
About 2 months ago I discovered a red line on the center of my daughters sculp while washing her hair. It did not go away since then. She claims that it somethimes hurt, especially when combing her hair. Is this something to be concerned about?

She may have a dry scalp and her skin is simply cracking, try put some leave in conditioner in that area, and using moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Avoid parting her hair in the middle (Keeping it in a ponytail is ideal, as it covers the scalp) and put sunscreen anywhere where her hair parts to avoid drying it out.
