Cyclophosphamide treatment success

Hello all. Here is an interesting story that appeared in the Baltimore Sun yesterday, June 24.

The article reports that cyclophosphamide, already known to be an immunosuppressant, has been a notable success with patients who  have aggressive and relatively early MS. Even the headline is hopeful: "Ive gotten my life back."

This is a very small study conducted at Hopkins. I think the med is a bit scary because the immune system is basically destroyed and rebuilt, but still this may prove to be a wonderful treatment for those who haven't responded to the more traditional drugs.

Beow is the article location. If it doesn't print here I'll come back and 'fix' that.

Thanks so much for posting this ess.  I have it printed out and am saving it for future reference.  I hope to one day get Craig to Hopkins.

WOW. Incredible.  I hope to see this study continue.  I hope Elaine sees this.

I would like to think more research like it is going on that we don't even know about....

Thanks for sharing.

Feel well, and I hope you are continuing to get some much-needed sleep!
