Hi
I also have your same problems and 'puff' a lot when my stomach feels bad. Also heartbeat sometimes gets irregular. Have also had heart tests etc and take Zantac effervescent tablets but they only work a bit. I take Valium in small doses and it often helps but only for a short time.
I have had this for 15 years or more and it gets worse and better without any real explanation. Long periods of stress do contribute for sure, and the worse my gastric problems are the worse the other stuff is. Some nights I cant sleep at all, and have to sit up in bed because if I lay down I get really breathless and have feelings like stomach spasms. I cant get an answer. If you get any more info please let me know. It's not going to kill us because I've had it for so long that it would have done it already so don't worry too much (easy for me to say). Good Luck. Kev.
