pregnancy after tubal ligation

How likely is it to get pregnant after tuballigation? I have had my tubes tied for 4 years now but the thing is I don't know what kind it is, what i mean is is that when i asked my doctor for my tubes to be tied it took him 2 monthes to do it and im not so sure he done what i want him to do, i wanted to him to cut and burn them but im not sure he done that.....so if he done it the way i wanted him to how do i tel if got pregnant the reason why im asking is because i believe i have 3 miscarriages and on my way to another one. i have been having alot of cramps and bloating and really sick to my stomach and not to mention by breast have really sore i have all the symtoms of being pregnant i just don't know how to go about finding out how i had my tubes done.see i know where my doc. is located now, after the the hurricane katrina all the doc relocated in different places and my records were damaged atleast that is what i have been told. well if any body can help please do thank you Brenn08

I actually had the same problem...I did not know how my doc did mine so a couple days ago I called the place where I had my surgery done and asked for my Op Reports from when I had the tubal ligation done...they are your records and so they are free to get a copy.  You will have them usually within a day or so. So that is my suggestion...just call them up and ask for a copy of your records of the tubal you had. They have to give them to you.
