post angular cheilitis

i finally got rid of angular cheilitis about 5 months ago but it has left some minor scarring what is the best approach towards making it look like my old lips

This is a condition that I have never treated.  It is primarily a dermatologic problem and the scarring is usually minor.  The anatomy of the corner of the mouth is so complex, that surgical treatment would be inappropriate.  I know of no magical topical treatment that has been consistently successful in that area.
