contradicting tests and symptoms

I am a 47yo woman who was referred to cardio for irreg ecg. I did stress cardiolite and other tests, he told me results show "very weak heart muscle" at 25% and scar tissue and sched me for a angio.  Angio shows no scarring and EF of 55%. I do have mital and tricuspid regirg but how is it possible to get such varied results. He sent me for a MUGA scan after the angio waiting for results will see on 7-10.  I do have palpatations, SOB and occasional chest pain.  Not sure if I am being taken on an insurance ride for the $$ or if I should see another doctor.

Welcome to the community!

WOW!  That's quite a difference from one test to another.  Hopefully, the MUGA will clear up the discrepancy.  Any idea how leaky the valves are?  Did the doctor comment on the valves in lieu of the (possibly) declining EF?  Were the tests done at the same facility?

Both regirg are listed as "mild" along w/ "mild" pulmonary hypertension (42) and mild
left atrial enlargement.  Dr. hasn't given a clear anything. I just keep getting poked, jabbed and injected, and each test seams to say something different.  Very frustrating.
All test except agngio done at same facility and my cardio did angio himself.

Hang in there.  Hopefully, you will have the answers very soon.

In the meantime, I hope you can take some time to enjoy the weekend.
