Low RBC - high potassium

by stgals3, Jun 27, 2008 12:56PM
Hi!  I'm a 24y old female - symptoms include severe, frequent dizziness, fatigue, "tremor/trembling" sensation, migraines, frequent headaches, gastro discomfort - gas, belching, etc.  Had gallbladder removed 1 year ago due to polyp found on ultrasound.  Lab work done last week showed:
High Potassium 5.3
Low RBC 3.96
Low WBC  4.8
Hemoglob 12.6
Hematocrit 37.7
Platelets 236
Iron 109

Should I be concerned about the high Potassium and low RBC.  Looking back on former labs throughout the past few years, I see a pattern of high Pot. and low RBC - What would cause this???
Thank you for any and all input!!
