rising ca 125

Please could anyone tell me if a rise in ca 125 that is still within normal limits(below 35) is significant of recurrence after treatment completed.

Hi There,

Trends are more important than the actual number. So if the number was 5 and then 15 then 7, that probably reflects lab variation and is normal. If the number was 5 then 15 then 35, I would worry that some activity such as growth of cancer is occurring.
