The most common cause of dribbling urine is a stricture in the urethra.
An enlarged prostate can also cause dribbling of the urine.

If a stricture has been ruled out, and other causes related to the prostate have not been identified, it is difficult to pinpoint a specific reason for the problem.
You can try voiding at timed intervals instead of when there is an urge to see if it helps.
Alternatively,you can discuss with your urologist whether dilatation would help, if this is causing significant discomfort.
