Cervical ribs can really cause pain and other symptoms much like the ones you are experiencing. The initial treatment would indeed be rehabilitation and exercises, but severe cases would involve a surgical intervention. A consult with an orthopedic surgeon may be in order to assess if there is a need to have this form of treatment. For the mean time, it is best to you to continue the rehabilitation exercises, have adequate rest and sleep, and avoid too much stress.
