Support with stomach spasms

For over a year now I have these "attacks" or spasms as my doctor now diagnosed. They only last 15-30 minutes but during that time I am completely overcome with pain and nearing blacking out. It feels like my stomach directly below and in my rib cage fills with air to the point I am short of breath and feel pressure and pain in my upper back and shoulder blades as well. I have kept a journal during these episodes but nothing in particular seems to bring them on and when they come it is sudden with no warning. My doctor prescribed Donnatal 3x a day but after 6 days taking them faithfully I had another spasm today. The last few I had ended in my mouth watering and me hanging my head in the toilet feeling like I needed to throw up. I am just wondering if anyone else has similar symptoms and if so is there something you have tried and worked for you that I could try or suggest to my doctor who I plan on calling Monday at 8am!

Hallo, I have the same problem with a spasm for a last 7 years! I'm 38 years old women. It seems like a heart attack, it becomes in the solar plexus and goes to the left side down of my last left rib.(Sorry about my english becouse I am from Croatia, and serching for help last 7 years.) When attack begin I also feel pressure in my cest, I can not breath well, I can not speak.At summer ,when there are higher temperature my condition is worst, I even can not go out from my apartmant. Well, all tests what I have done are good, so I still don't know why that spasm .
