Uvula has membraneous/swollen for long time

by imago17sx, Jun 29, 2008 02:15PM
Hello friends -
My uvula at the back of my palate has felt swollen & membraneous for over a year now.  I can always feel it with my tonge at the back of my throat.  It always hangs to the right as well so I can feel it with my tongue on the right side of my mouth.  With that said, there is no pain, just irritating cause I always tend to touch it with my tongue while it hangs on the right side.  For the longest time I thought it was a mysterious ball of saliva there, but I found out its my uvula.

Any suggestions? Thanks so much.

Cheers,

Sam.
