Misdiagnosed?

by carizmama, Jun 29, 2008 11:54PM
Ok here is the story.... I was diagnosed with genital warts when I was 7 1/2 months pregnant... I had warts and used aldara.... it got rid of most of them... I had a few still there.... well I feel that maybe I was misdiagnosed.... because I no longer have any sign of warts... also what makes me think about this is.... I had run across a page of other not so commonly heard of stds and I saw a page about that mallocum thing... I have had bumps under my breats and arms and in the my thighs and also in my genital area.... so I am wondering could the bumps I had actually have been that instead of the warts... because I have never actually gotten an "abnormal" pap test result... the father of my child has been sexually active with other females during our time together so I get checked every 3 months for hiv and get a pap every time I visit the doctor... I have told him that he has given me hpv but not I am not so sure... can someone please help me.... I am going to the doctor in the morning to get re-tested for everything under the sun.... and now I am kinda nervous that it wasn't what I thought initally... if someone could help me it would be great and thank you .

Relax, your body builds immunity over time, and its completly possible that you are at that stage (if they are not there any more).  I don't know anything about the other problem, but don't play the blame game, take care of it and move on; at least its not herpes.
