My 5 years old didn't like to be touched

by ling9000, Jun 30, 2008 12:43AM
My son is 5 years old. He had a problem with sosial. He was 2 years in preschool, and the teacher said he really smart. he can even read 2nd grade book. First year on preschool was really hard but the second year was okay.  The problem is he didn't like to be touched even somebody said "hi" to him thats make him mad.  People said he is grumpy boy, because he always look mad, and screamed when people tried to make communication to him. This happened most of the time, only when he really2 had a good mood, he like to play with somebody. We feel like he always cried and screaming.  We tried to teach him talk how he's feeling, not just cried and scream, we gave him award if he did good. Now he almost go to kindergarten. this make me worry. One of my friend said maybe my son have aspergers. Do you have any idea about this??
Thanks

You could get him checked out at the Docs to see if he does have Asbergers, Be observant about what triggers the Moods and yelling , does something happen before, is he happy with the Teachers at preschool and how about people at home in his life, has he any younger siblings he could be jealous of, give him plenty of positive attention, and dont overreact if he is gru mpy, play it down.
