pyeloplasty drainage

by SamV, Jun 30, 2008 06:03AM
My daughter 8 months old had a pyeloplasty surgery done a week back, She seems to be recoverng fine except that the last couple of days the draingage from the white coloured wick they had placed during the surgey has been dischaging lot of fluid. The fluid is clear. Couple of days back we used to change the gauze every 6hours but now there is a need to change every 2-4hours. What could be causing it?
Is this something to be alarmed about?
