by skotandmj, Jun 30, 2008 07:04PM
Hi anyone,
I am over my hump of wanting to use my loritab (I got out of a medical detox last wednesday) but I am so lethargic, and just blah in general...I still cant sleep....when does this get better??? I used for a little over a year and the dr.s said it would take about 4-6 weeks for my body to start producing endorphines again...It is a chore to move, stand, eat, think.....I need more hope than I have...please

Exercise helps this lethargy and it was the worst symptom for me and hung on the longest...unlike many..i slept an awful lot ...after a month with low energy spurts i cracked down on the supps...if anything would have made me completely relpase ..it woulda been the fatigue..it lingered for me...exercise and supps help...take a look and get out for a walk

See the thing is when you deplete your body the way we have, you need extra vitamons and minerals to even start to get endorphins again. Most people go into adrenal exhaustion; which means zero energy, don't wanna walk move ect. That is why  this forum is so big on B-6 and the aminos. I would say watch your diet, eat lots of protein (your immune system is made of protein) get lots of fresh food and water. Exercise for ten minutes ... lightly. Very lightly. Even if all it is is strecthing on the floor.

If you can eat, then afetr you finish eating swallow the vitaimins or get a liquid form.

The thing is I am on Day 11 too! We can be twins! Sorta. I also have no desire to eat drink or move. ALl I wanna do is lay down. And since it is hard to sleep, that gets annoying you know?

So my plan is to slowly ever so slowly rebuild with vitamins and minerals and aminos. Light exercise. My body is deplted and my kidneys are exhausted from the withdrawal.

B vitamins and minerals are your friends. Try Benadryl? Or an antihistamine or melatonin for sleep?

It gets better every day. And then sometimes (I won't lie to you fellow day 11-er) all of your energy will vanish. And you'll have to take it easy. But then it passes. It's like having a randomly moving flu!

There's hope! No worries! You'll feel good again. And also remember that; sometimes your thoughts are ... being influenced by old patterns of the drug. That helps me.

Good Luck and good health!
