3 yr old with mucus and blood in stool

by badavis, Jun 30, 2008 08:48PM
I have a 3 yr old son who has had diarrhea for the past 4 days. At first it was yellow and he had stomach cramping and abdominal pain that came and went night and day. Now he has mucus and blood in his stool. We are currently collecting stool samples for the doctor however I was wondering if this is some time of virus that anyone else has experienced with their child.
