White Gums?

by guzzler, Jul 01, 2008 04:10AM
I have had Gingivitis for around 3-4 months now. I followed my Dentists advice to floss and brush more, but it hasn't gone away. I've begun to believe that it is caused by dry mouth, as I have a constant thirst. My mouth becomes parched if I do not have something to drink nearly all the time.

I just checked my gums and noticed white areas above my top teeth! Also, they seem to be more sore. Is this a progression of Gingivitis? Also, what underlying causes could there be?

Any replies are welcome.
