Constant hCG levels

by ournewbiz, Jul 01, 2008 11:43AM
Hi folks...
Need your advice/opinion
My wife was pregnant in Jan 08 and had a miscarriage in April...after the miscarriage..here hCG level was <10
After two complete menstrual cycle...she is pregnant again... at about 4.5 weeks..doctor has done a blood test on 06/25/08....
Progesteron was 9 and hCG was 137...twodays after the hcg was still 137...
We are really worried now...doctr says...its not ok...doc has prescribed clinon 8% for progesterone...dont know abt hCG yet...wife has given one more blood test on 06/30 on doctors recommendation just to rule out lab error...
the result will be out today...

we are worried that we will have one more miscarriage...
if anyone knows if this is ok or there is still hope...please let me know

Thanks much

I would wait and see, lab errors do occur. I dont know what clinon is, I had progesterone suppositories because of previous miscarriage.....it doesnt guarantee you wont miscarry but if progesterone was the issue it will help...Let us know how everything goes..Good Luck
