A cluster of smooth bumps could be a sign of infection with herpes simplex virus.
Are the bumps filled with clear fluid?
D you have any pain associated with the appearance of the bumps?
You will need to have tests done to rule out STDs and a blood test will be required to rule out herpes.
In the meantime, practice safe sex (condoms).
