arachnoid cyst

by irisheyes71, Jul 01, 2008 05:34PM
This 4 yr old had huge arachnoid cyst fenestration at 1 yr., then burr holes for subdural hygromas at 2 yrs, then a shunt placed at 3 yrs.  Now she has a" lazy eye", doesn't see colors, balance problems going down stairs, drags left leg,  toileting problems, exhibits aggression, needs anger management,  expressive & receptive lang disorder, memory problems,  - can anything be done to reverse these, or will these impairments likely remain?  What kind of prognosis does she have with reoccuring subdural hygromas?
