This forum is an un-mediated, patient-to-patient forum for questions and support regarding
Chlamydia issues such as: Causes,
Chlamydia in Women, Exams and Tests, Medications, Prevention, Research, Risks, Support, Surgery, Symptoms, Treatments, What to ask your doctor.
My concern here is that the only testing you've had done was shortly after you took the meds, and if it wasn't 2 weeks since the meds, you could be getting false negative results.
It seems as if he's treating you for prostatitis, but has he done a prostate exam?
It seems like a lot of meds are being thrown at this, but based on what, ya know? Maybe its time to see a urologist.

clamydia? after the zitromax?
gonorrhea? after cipro?
something else? after tetracycline???
heeeelp!
You only had oral sex, by your reports. The possibilities from oral sex are gonorrhea, syphilis, and NGU.
NGU is tricky, because it can be caused by so many things. One of those is adenovirus. Since its a virus, no antibiotics will work to cure it, and you just need to wait it out.
But I'm still concerned that you are being treated with all these antibiotics, and no one is really testing you. Yes, the zithromax would cure chlamydia, but you wouldn't get chlamydia from oral sex. The cipro might or might not cure gonorrhea. Many strains are now resistant to it.
You might end up needing to wait a couple of weeks, and then have some more testing done.
