I have Intercranial Hypertesion

by ajb93, Jul 01, 2008 07:20PM
Well I'm 14 in Salt Lake City, Utah and I have Intercranial Hypertesion, or . I have been suffering with it for about four years. I been trying to do research lately for a documentary I going to be filming. I need help with this and if there is anyone that I can film for the film, it would be much appreciated. If not I am just asking for any information that may help me.

Thank you,
Ashley

Hi there!

It is nice to learn the way you are coping with your condition.  It is indeed very hard to maintain a positive attitude and I really commend you for having achieved this.  However, as much as I would want to, I live in another country in asia and I believe I cannot help you much with your filming.  I call on other's out there who are in this forum if they will be interested in doing this film with you.  Wishing you all the best!!!  Regards and God bless.

Hi Ashley, I hope your documentation is well under way. What would you like to know? Short story : I knew something was wrong with me when every time I stood up or bent over my vision became gray- completely. I couldn't see for a few seconds and then it gradually faded. I went to my opthalmologist, he noticed papilledema in my eyes and sent me to the hospital. I was there for 3 or 4 days and diagnosed with pseudotumor cerebri. From there I was put on medicine and I see both a neurologist and a neuro-opthalmologist regularly. If you would like more help feel free to write!
