Pain in groin area

For the past certain months I was suffering from Fungal infection in Groin area. Last week I suffered from appendicitis and my doctor cured me by administering antibiotics. Now have a relief the inflamation is gone. But from today morning I am suffering  pain in the groin area which is similar to the pain I suffered for appendicitis
    I  wanted to know that is the pain caused by Fungal infection or medicinal reaction which was provided for appendicitis.
     I  have not experienced similar pain in groin area before and there is no blister or rashes. My penis is black in color due to infection and the part where I experience pain, the skin has lines like a farmer's plough field and there is no growth of any hair in this part
   I suspect any infection in urinary tract or caused by fungus .Please give a solution

How would you describe this pain?

You have mentioned that you were diagnosed with appendicitis. Was an appendectomy done? In this case I would suggest that an abdominal ultrasound may be done to ascertain the cause of the pain. A baseline urinalyis and urine culture may also be helpful to determine if infections or urinary tract stones may be present. I do not think the fungal infection has been causing the pain. Unless the area is swollen and severely infected the tenderness may be noted when the skin is palpated. The pain of appendicitis is severe and may be influenced by movement and certain positions.

I suggest immediate consult with your doctor. If appendicitis has been considered before and no surgical management done, then this has to be considered first before other disease conditions

Hi,
Fungal infections in the groin are commonly caused by Tinea cruris. It is not associated with pain, only itching and a burning type of sensation.
Your pain could be due to a recurrent episode of inflammation of the appendix if you are getting it on the right lower side of your abdomen.
If it is central and located lower down and associated with urinary problems like pain/burning while passing urine, then you can get urine tested to check for an UTI.
If confirmed, then a course of antibiotics will be the treatment.
For the fungal infection you can use creams containing tolnaftate, clotrimazole or miconazole, applied to the area of the infection.
