herpes

For the last couple of days my clitoris (the hood) and around the top.. I am a bit of a hypochondriac, so I was looking around "down there" and found a "spot" that had what looked like a whitehead on it I wasnt watery or anything. It was hard. I have had itching there before and I went and had a BV infection. At first I thought it was toliet paper.
I know someone said on a forum about itching being "localized" . Would it still be itchy even 3-days later?? which leads me to believe that it may be another BV infection....
Some info about me...I have been with same partner for 14 years, so, if it was Herpes, it would have to be very mild, correct? He's never complained about any sort of rash/itching, ever.
Any insights would be great.....
