End of 2005 i went to the Emergency room, because i had flu and took xray of my chest and found two lung nodules,

I did a CT scan and finally, the doctor ordered me to do biopsy I did it and he said its cancer. The doctor did not know

what it is and he said it might be infection, but he recommended me to do xray every 6 months.  2 months a go

(March 2008) I did an xray and the size of the nodules got bigger almost 2 times. The second doctor asked me to do

bronchus copy, by sticking tube through my mouth and they will spray liquid and them suck it and let it grow for 45

day in the lab to find out what it is, is it safe to do the bronchus copy test??  And is there any cure for the nodules

without a surgery first??

I need help please

God bless all of you

It is best to ascertain the nature of these nodules through percutaneous biopsy (CT scan guided, inserting a needle through the chest wall), or through bronchial lavage (like what your doctors want to do).  If this is cancer, then appropriate treatment can be given in the form of surgery, radiation therapy or chemotherapy.  If this is an infection, then appropriate antibiotics can be given.

Regards.
