what is it?

by anywho82, Jul 02, 2008 09:21AM
I noticed the other day that I have these white hard bumps on the right side of my vulva. It's like a ridge, it feels like there are 3 right next to each other. They are small and not painful, I try not to touch them other than to inspect them to see if anything is changing. I noticed that there is something that could be just like it on the mirroring side on my left vulva except it's only one bump. It is on the outter part of the vulva but inside the hairline.

back story- I've had rectal itching for years. My father had it, and I've had it since before I was sexually active. more recently it seemed like the skin was splitting a bit and caused the edge of my vagina close to my rectum to itch as well. I always try to take care of any possible infected area with witch hazel and neosporin. I also sometimes pluck the hairs down there when I trim myself.

I've looked into forcyce spots, molloscium contagiosum, possible hpv, possible herpes, nothing seems to completely match. I've been trying to make an appointment for my ob-gyn asap, but my work and their schedule are conflicting. I don't trust just anyone to tell me what I have anymore. I've had two false positives that both turned out to be nothing std related. I am just extremely paranoid and I can't get my mind off the worry. Please help!
Thank you.

Honestly, you already listed all the possibilities of what it could be.

Now, you just need to make some time to get to the doctor's.  Your health always takes priority over your job.
