discharge

I am 9 weeks into my first pregnancy, so this may be nothing to be concerned about.  Yesterday and today I have been experiencing a milky, white discharge.  I realize there will be discharge with pregnancy, but how much is too much and when do I need to be concerned enought to call my doctor?  I also have some quick, sharp pains in my lower ab/cervix area, but hopefully that's just ligaments stretching.

Sounds totally normal; it's called luekkorrea and it's extremely common in pregnancy. You'll have some days where it's heavier than others, and it may seem like a lot sometimes. The only time you need to worry is if it has a bad odor or itch or weird color. Otherwise it's just another one of the many joys of pregnancy! ;)

Thanks so much!  I knew it was probably me being overly concerned.
