Quite Concerned.

by Beedy, Jul 02, 2008 12:20PM
hi, i had spinal fusion surgery 5 weeks ago. C1 & C2 bones. Last night i took a bath, i know to keep my head still, but without thinking i looked to see what the time was, rotating my neck to the left. I'm worrying about this a lot now, i may have caused damage. Their was no pain, i am just a bit shocked.

Thanks, Matt.

Hi there.

The fact that you are ble to rotate your neck means that the objective of the fusion may have have been met.  Though there is no pain, it is best that you inform your surgeon about what happened since he may want to assess the outcome of his surgery.  For now, make sure the same situation never happens again until such time you can be seen or assured by your surgeon.

Regards.

Hi,

Since no new symptom has developed that means alls well. Please do be more careful in future. Take care!
