Grace,
I just got back from the Uro and she said that I didn't have anything that suggested herpes. Symptoms or lesions. Whew. She did do a DRE and found the prostate to be boggy on one side. She felt that this was the last of a bout of prostatitis.
Two days later (granted the weather is close to one hundred) and I have some redness and chaffing inside the crack directly surrounding the anus. I do not see any bumps or blisters just redness. I have not had any itching or pain in the exact area where this seems to be occuring. During the past two months I have had cramps in both hamstrings which I explained to my uro but she felt this could be related to cipro and my high level of anxiety. (constantly checking and rechecking myself and searcing the net for any possible information.) Those cramps come and go and seem to be worst when I get stressed. Again no pain or itching to speak of more like irritation. If I wasnt such a hypocondriac I would write this off as heat/diaper type rash.
1) when you experience itching do you mean constant all day drive you crazy itching? (I'm not experiencing that).
I guess I'm interested in your thougths.
