Can I get an STD from this?

Hi Guys,
Once again i have a question and i hope you can help me out with. Is it possible to get an std from licking just the sides of the penis(the shaft) but NOT licking the head of it. And if the person only licked the penis twice just the side? Any help would be great as i am very worried about getting something.

I suppose there is a chance, but it would be very very low, if there is a chance at all.

The only thing I can think of that would be a risk is syphilis, but syphilis is uncommon.

Would you be at a bigger risk if you licked the sides more than twice?

Oh I suppose.  I'm not going to get into a "what if I really licked it 10 times?  20 times?"  

Regardless of how many times you licked it, the risk is still low.  :)

Thanks again for the response! Another quick question how likely is it to get a STD from rubbing up agaisnt each other gentials (sorry not sure of the right term) but without intercourse. Would this be considered a high risk activity for STD including hiv?

Its not at all a risk for HIV - very low risk if no penetration occurred - but its a possibility for herpes, syphilis and HPV.  

I wouldn't worry if you don't get symptoms though.

Once again i have a quick question for you guys, if i guy ejaculates on your face would you be able to get any std's including hiv? Would it make a difference if it was close to your mouth? Sorry for all the questions!

If the sperm got into your eye, you could get a chlamydia or gonorrhea infection in the eye, and if it got into your mouth, the same could happen.

It has to be IN the eye or mouth - not near it.

HIV infection might happen, but its probably not very likely.

If you are having sex with men, are you asking them to test?  To wear a condom?  You seem to be concerned about stds, and testing and condom use can prevent that.
